Anyway I've been having a good hard look at that front two

Looking ahead to next season's winner, I predict a four-way battle between me, Gerry, Dan and Godot. With Steve, Ben, Roscoff and Shaggy (Neanderthal tacticians to a man) once again making up the numbers.

Oh no sorry wrong quote

With silver and bronze medals still up for grabs, now is the time to be brave (that includes you, Steve). #Nothing to lose

That one

A little over a week to go
With a late Double game week to tempt us

Are there going to be a few transfers flying about this week?

Yep! I've gone nuts on two :) That there Rooney and controversially Whickam. No point in playing safe in mid-table mediocrity!

This is all very amusing Steve, but what is it you're trying to say? Don finished in third place last year and he's third now. I finished fourth and I've only just been displaced from that spot by Gerry. I'll most likely take it back. Even if I don't we've both shown consistency in finishing more or less where we did last season, despite a larger field.

It's yours and Gerry's positions that are anomalous. You were off the pace last season and him this.

It's a good call. Who do you field - Rooney, Aguero, Suarez or two of those and Wickham? If you ditch Suarez, will you be able to afford him for the Newcastle game?

He's just won FPA player of the year - is he likely to end the season without scoring?

Only having a bit of fun Godot.

I was looking for the Don quote from last season when he said that it was all to play for, and saw the prediction one along the way.

I'm banking on Sturridge making a good comeback. He's done well when coming back from an injury break but it does mean that Rodgers has to play him. I think with things as tight as they are he has too. As for Aguero, he looks a shadow of his former self (especially at that price). I'd sooner swap Nasri for Yo-Yo to be honest.

Brought Ramsey in when I should really have tinkered to get Touré in for two games. Oh well. I've also drafted Aguero in for the first time in ages as I'm hoping he rediscovers his goal scoring touch in their title push.

This must be the most interesting week in the season for team selections in the Clique. I thought no-one would top Gerry's TEN DGW line-up as I made my way down the table, but then Logger Man Dan's line-up has the full ELEVEN to play.

Last week's high score for Dan has obviously tempted him to hit that transfer button another four times, and damn the points' hit.

Agüero is top captain choice by far (tough move for Godot I assume); Mata features a couple of times (Alf & LM Dan); could this be the week for Borini to finally hit the jackpot for Badge?

Yes, very difficult! He has better stats than Suarez, but who would you rather have in your team? Knock his tiara off and he's gone. He also doesn't dig the ball out like Suarez.

Made my transfer early this week and paid the price. If I had left it later I would have done Yaya and Wickham instead of Shrek and Amalfitano. That said now is not the time to make-up points - the two most unpredictable weeks of an unpredictable season - see Tottenham currently losing 2-0 to the human waste that is West Ham.

Rooney out injured. Giggs has slipped into Moyes like tinkering/rotating already - starts for Young, Fletcher, Hernández, Nani, and more predictably, Mata. Welbeck and RVP on the bench.

Yes, but he'll play their second game.

You can Pick-and-Mix united players however you want, they're all boiled sweets and toffees - there are no shrimps or cola bottles.

I bought Welbeck too this week; noticed we're often in synch. Hopefully he'll get some game time.

Some more than others.

Are you talking to me?
