Quote: Leevil @ August 18, 2007, 11:31 PMNot surprised, granddad.
Got to admit you have me floored there with that perfect comedy put down. I bow to your satirical brilliance Leevil
I learned from the best, hours and hours listening to some guys called Derek and Clive, brilliant they were, dirty buggers though.
when I saw this first I though this was about the teaming up of Roger Cook and Roger Moore that'd be awesome hounding bad MoFo's that have shortchanged the British people.
Leevil : " I learned from the best, hours and hours listening to some guys called Derek and Clive, brilliant they were, dirty buggers though."
There you go again, pulling them out of the hat, one after another.
You are destined for the top mate, Keep going and don't let any bugger say your shite.
Oi you two, calm down. KP, your comment did come across, well, really c**ty to be honest, but Leevil should have kept his cool a bit more.
Now, who wants a chocolate digestive?
And in answer, C&M were very good. I disagree with Zooo that Pete carried Dud though. Their style, and Cook's personality, meant that he was the predominant 'character', if you will. For me, Dud's later successes, against Pete's lack of pretty much anything, proved that Dud was the more talented of the two by quite a margin.
Although maybe that's in no small part down to Cook's personality...
Aaron, I am sooo proud of you!
Dudley just never really made me laugh. I was always laughing at Cook's bits.
But maybe that shows how generous Dudley was.
Well, I'll always love Santa Claus The Movie. I get really pissed off if it's not on TV at Christmas. (Luckily I have the DVD now though. )
Good point, well made.
: )
I want the big loaf of bread and the can of Coke on a dark, snowy night!
And the candy canes...
I have lots of crimbo DVD's (am the christmas fairy queen). Love that film along with Scrooged.
I liked the candy canes too mister!
Scrooged is the bestest.
