Ed Stone Is Dead

Sitcom about a man who dies when the Grim Reaper makes a gross error, and is sent back to Earth - with certain conditions, naturally.

Anyone watched this? How come it is not on TV anymore?

I have very fond memories of this series. Richard Blackwood's one of those people it seems to be cool to hate, but I recall the interplay between him and Bill Paterson as particularly delightful.

Wasn't this one of Armstrong and Bain's early failures before Peep Show?

They were indeed amonst its writers, yes.

Sounds like the film Heaven Can Wait.

Very similar initial premise, but the consequences and events that follow are - whilst on a similar theme - somewhat different.

Caught a few episodes of this the other day, it may not be outstanding but it certainly is a lot of fun, it's a shame it isn't more widely known

Where did you find them?

Is it this Gina Yashere's talking about here? Around the time she did the chat show for a week on BBC Choice?

Sounds quite possible!

What a world.
