It looks good. Released on 5th July in the cinema! What do you think of it?
Bula Quo!
It's, erm... it has Status Quo in it.
Never ever heard of the cast.
You've never heard of Status Quo?
I never heard of both.
Both? Do you mean Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt?
Yep never heard of them ever.

Stom watching shite such as The Voice or Britain's Got Talent and concentrate on real music.
But you did hear of the Rolling Stones?
I was up for (and didn't get) the writing gig on this - so have to admit to a certain schadenfreude when seeing the less than glowing reviews.
It was never going to be great though, was it?
That's very interesting, Lazzard. Do you know how many people may have been in your position? It was, in the end, written by the director and his wife.
Laura Aikman tweeted this review of the film this morning, from Front magazine:
"Make no mistake, Bula Quo! is shit, but it's so much fun it doesn't matter one bit."
Don't know how many, but gleaning info from a Radio 5 interview , I think it was a re-write I was up for. Quo spoke of a script coming in at the start of 2011 that they hated, that then got re-written.
That fits in with my timescale, as I was working on a big re-write for the producer that put my name forward.
The fact that the director etc re-wrote it themselves leads me to think they didn't particularly want to go outside for the job.
Who knows, if I'd got hold of it , it might have been a bit less shit.
On the other hand...
