Glastonbury 2013 Page 3

Tim Burgess' hair is a disgrace.

Hey, a band way older than the Stones - the Congos streaming live now on the West Holts stage.

Damon Albarn watching from the side of the stage.

Nice harmonies.

I want one of those "Pugs Not Drugs" T-shirts someone in the crowd is wearing. :)

Someone was having a laugh on the red button - switching from PiL at their most manic straight on to Tom Odell.

Of Monsters And Men streaming live now on the Other Stage.

Too late!

So over to Vampire Weekend on the Pyramid.

Nope, not doing it for me, so dipping into the archive and checking out the Horrors and "Still Life":

Singer's voice is all husky, but still better.

Need to get ready for Nick Cave at the Pyramid at 7.45, and then The xx on the Other Stage at 10.05.

The xx were frigging amazing when I saw them at the end of last year. One of the best gigs of my life.

Anyone know who the female singer/guitarist currently on red button 1 is? Liking it.

Cave & the Bad Seeds on great form. :D

Cave just did his second walkabout into the crowd on "Staggerlee". Classic stuff! Try and watch it later if you can. Laughing out loud

Singer I didn't know earlier is in her 20's and looks a bit like a younger Amelia Bullmore.

Any suggestions?

Enjoying Steve Mason on red button 3. zooo, you might like him too. :)

I'd settle for twenty minutes withe the older version !!!

Hey OR, welcome to page 3. :D

Nearly time for The xx. Live stream on the Other Stage has just turned on the sound of the crowd chatting among themselves.

*building up the excitement here, chip style*

Apparently this is funny if you watch it while listening to any Mumford & Sons song.

Not working all that well with Bobby Womack unfortunately. ;)

For those holding their breath, finally, after a lot of trial & error, worked out the identity of the mystery artist - it's the lead singer in Daughter.

Phew!

Daughter's set:

Also thought Portishead's set looked awesome. Wasn't paying too much attention initially but Beth Gibbons really draws you in.

As Bobby Guillespe is a Jaggeresque frontman, putting the Primal Scream slot before the Stones not good organising.

Bit concerned for Keith Richards who seems to wander around aimlessly like Junior Soprano.

So why did so many spectators want to see a bunch of elderly men performing old Stones songs?
