But if I had everything in the universe, that would include the damn sandwich, surely!?

It's outside of the universe of course. Dur! Sigh, some people.

Quote: Simon Stratton @ August 18, 2007, 2:11 PM

I also used to think food and drink went different ways to your stomach, so when food 'went down the wrong way' it had gone down the drink pipe.

I er, still think that...

:$

Is that not true then...?

Bugger.

Laughing out loud

You know those signs at railway stations that say "passengers may alight here"? Well, until two years ago, I thought that meant you could leave your train for 5 minutes at these stops to have a fag! :$

ROFL

I can't help it! They should teach this stuff at school!

Have Your Cake & Eat It Too.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! What are you supposed to do with the bugger beside EAT IT. I mean it is Ridic....

Who on here (Beside diabetics. You dont count). Could buy a scrumptious slice of yum & just look at it.............. FOREVER?????

Gotta agree with Charley on this one.

Even though its not really a saying, i reckon cockney rhyming slang is one of the most pointless and annoying things that you can come out with. "Would you adam and eve it ey'?" NO!!! I WOULDNT!!! BECAUSE 'ADAM AND EVE' IS NOT A GOD DAMN VERB.

I hope that you tortured him in this fashion regularly.

That 'have your cake and eat it' thing bothered me for AGES. But I finally figured out that it means: if you eat the cake, you don't have it anymore.
So it's one or the other.

But it's not "have your cake or eat it"...

Hmm....
It's too complicated for my mind!!! Wiki will fix everything.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Have_one's_cake_and_eat_it_too

That makes a bit more sense.
