Alun Armstrong for the win. Strangely ironic that Dennis Waterman quit Minder because he thought it had become The Arthur Daley Comedy Hour, yet he stays with New Tricks into the sunset. New Tricks has become the Last of the Summer Wine cameo show. The title seems a bit daft now if James Bolam, Armstrong and Redman have all departed. Better to change the show's name to Doctor Who and make Dennis Waterman the Doctor.
And they've already calling Tamsin an old dog.
Great episode tonight. Gerry Standing having to prove his innocence.
Lyndhurst had a couple of great lines. Trying to put the frighteners on a known thug and holding a pair of secateurs he said "Just call me the Gardener!"
Then when they broke into a woman's house to get her to support Gerry he said "and we used up all the milk."
Scary Lyndhurst eh?
