I have a big box of sweets! The world is brilliant again!

Have you ever noticed that 'no' and 'offence' are the two sweetest words in the english language? For instance, "Mock The Week is one of the most stale and unoriginal comedies in recent times...but no offence." It's the strained grins that get me. They look like the producer's holding a gun in front of them and is saying 'tell a darker joke damn you!'

'Best on Mock the Week' is a stale old thread too ain't it!

I think the guys on it do a good enough job with it. I wonder if they think the format is stale? Maybe they're just glad of the telly exposure and the fee. A bit like clocking on...

I think its pretty damn good.

Dara Ó Briain is the funniest, I think. Hilarious all round. He used to be on a very, very, very similar show in Ireland called "The Panel" but he's left it now, as far as I know.
