Yes, I hope they change the title. Would be interesting to see Lee play somebody successful after playing a bum in Not Going Out, although that would betray its American roots - very few US sitcom characters are blue-collar (pretty much the only exceptions are Cheers, Taxi and Rosanne). Perhaps they could call it something like 'Never Flew the Nest' or 'A Street Apart'.

There are many other blue-collar American sitcoms. What tends to be the case is that, irrespective of background or occupation, the lead characters are successful and more or less content in what they do.
Has it said anywhere who is playing the brother?

No, not sure at this stage, I'm afraid. I've seen something suggesting that the pilot is an original Mack-penned script though, which would perhaps lean towards a very much 'inspired by' rather than 'adapted' sitcom, with less involvement from Rosenthal accordingly. But we shall have to wait and see.

Greg Davies would a nice choice if they're going for a tall guy (like in the original).

What about the Mum? How anyone could live up to the original I don't know. Maybe Alison Steadman?
