For The Love Of Ada is a 1972 British comedy film directed by Ronnie Baxter and starring Irene Handl, Wilfred Pickles, Barbara Mitchell and Jack Smethurst. It is a spin-off from the television series For The Love Of Ada.
Is the film ever likely to get a DVD release in the near future anyone know?
I have a copy on DVD that I bought a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed watching - I like Wilfred Pickles (read 3 biogs. of his life) and Irene Handl is/was an absolute gem in whatever she is in.
I see it is still available on Amazon..........
......BUT £27!! Damn sure I didn't pay that. When this happens to me I try eBay and usually come up trumps. 
I would hazard a guess that it might be re-released before long.
