Stand-up comedy mentor wanted

I'm currently on the lookout for a stand-up comedy mentor to train me to do stand-up comedy professionally.

Up to now I have done some TV presenting for film studios through my own production company and I'm currently working on developing a sitcom, which I'm planning to pitch to networks in the next few months.

The mentor that I'm looking for needs to have professional stand-up comedy experience, this can be classed by any of the following.

1.Someone who runs stand-up comedy classes
2.Someone who gigs regularly, delivering 20 minute sets
3.Someone who has won a recognisable stand-up comedy award (So You Think You're Funny, Amused Moose etc).

Alongside this I'm looking for someone who can be brutally straight with me. If I perform a set which stinks I don't want feedback to be sugar coated, I clearly want to be told what worked and what didn't work with what I did.

At the ripe age of 30 I know that I'd be considered as a 'late starter' so I'm eager to learn and work my way through the ranks as quickly as possible.

In terms of location I'd need the mentor to live in London or at very least to be open to travelling into London for rehearsal meetings. Any meetings which do not require rehearsals can be done virtually via webcam.

If this is something that you might be interested in then please email me some info on your background and what your hourly fee would be on Kevin@seriously-funny.com.

I look forward to hearing from you.
