YouTube Promo

Morning All

I've just released my second book via Amazon and I've put together a YouTube video promo, but not sure whether I should be pushing it out there.

The first book has done pretty well without any video promo's so I am a little reluctant in putting this out there.

I'm not really looking for crit on the content (In terms of what I am saying) as the book has been written, edited and is out there available to buy, but would love your honest opinion on whether I should be pushing this video out via Twitter/Facebook

Essentially, it's me narrating one of the chapters and I just wanted you to see what you think in terms of whether it works or not.

I find the visuals distracting.
I closed my eyes and got into the writing much more.
Not sure how you would use this/get it out there?

Hello Minty,

Overall I found it interesting and certainly gave me an idea what I would be getting with the book.
I think I agree with Lazzard that the visuals distracted a little from the spoken word - but that might be because there were so many - If you reduce the number it might work better.

Also a side point, but you describe While they were sleeping 2 as 'the return of the bestseller' - shouldn't it be 'the sequel to the best seller' ?
