Zombie Women of Satan

This is good fun. I had no idea what it was, as I just searched for movies with Zombie in the title.

It's got a rating of 3.3 on IMDB, but f**k em.

Isn't this by Warren Speed and his lot?

yep

I'd heard his name before, but never seen any of his stuff. It's worth the watch as long as you're just up for some daft comedy horror.

Strewth, that is pitiful.

I take it you expect more depth and pathos from film with a title like that?

North horror film Zombie Women of Satan set for a successful sequel
9 Sep 2012 00:00

THE film caused a storm when the zombie cast paraded round the Cannes Film Festival before becoming a huge cult success all over the world. Now a sequel to Zombie Women of Satan is on the way, with starring roles for Big Brother winner Pete Bennett and the Mighty Boosh's Mike Fielding.

The cast and crew hold their wrap party in Newcastle today, after a blood-splattered summer filming around the North East, and we'll see the finished film next year.

Warren Speed - the writer, performer and musician behind the two movies - told of his excitement at the new movie and the stir caused by the movies, both made on a shoestring budget and the generosity of those who were simply keen to be involved. "For what it was, the first film did really well and it definitely has a cult following, but I think this second one will do much better," said dad-of-two Warren, who used to run the Newcastle Gateshead Comedy Festival. "It's a better story, it's funnier and I really think it will launch an acting career for Pete Bennett because he's brilliant in it."

Back in 2009 Warren, who also performs in a heavy rock band called Sideshow Excentrique, ploughed his life savings into making Zombie Women of Satan, a comedy horror with a difference that caused a stir when it was shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Telling the story of a group of nightclub performers - including Warren's character, Pervo the clown - who fought off a gang of zombie women, it was the number one horror film to pre-order on Amazon before it was even released.

Since its release, the film has developed a cult following all over the globe, even sparking a trend of Zombie Women of Satan-themed parties, and Warren hopes a similar buzz will surround the sequel. "My character Pervo is back as the main good guy and Pete plays Bertie Dumble, who is dating one of the survivors of the first film, is the bad guy and you don't have to have seen the first film to see this one," said Warren, 43, of Kingston Park, Newcastle.

I signed up here years ago, and I didn't sign up to promote anything other than comedy which boring predictable c**ts like you just ignore.

I feel another category coming on...

It's not difficult to keep to it, is it?

A Spanish friend of mine made a film called Karate Vampires of Torremolinos. Very good it was, too.(It wasn't really, it was crap)

Sorry.

From what I saw of it, the film was fairly poor.
Some ok-ish camera work, but terrible acting.

Amazing what a bunch of coke heads can do with two grand and a digital camera.

I wouldn't be too concerned with all the negative comments if I was you mate, you like what you like, but others can find that difficult to understand at times, mainly because of their own personal reasons, whatever they are!. If you want to watch a cheesy, funny British comedy horror then watch "Love Bites"
