Watched this for the first time on DVD only yesterday. Never would imagine to see Bob Hoskins in a sitcom. Not only that, but to see him star alongside John Thaw, who around the same time was starring in 'The Sweeny'.
Have to say though, it falls short on laughs and is a bit too serious for a sitcom to my liking. Still, interesting to see the likes of Hoskins & Thaw on screen together.
So, who else has seen this?? Would like to know your thoughts.
It was a very good sitcom. John Thaw was very good in this. A good combination Thaw and Hoskins. Watched it on YouTube thought it was very enjoyable. I highly recommend to people who like John Thaw or Bob Hoskins.
Bit more of an element of comic drama to it than sitcom. Didn't do an awful lot for me.

Enjoyed this a lot more second time around.
