Have you returned them all to Blockbuster Video remembering to rewind them first?
I watched Local Hero this afternoon.
Man Up starring Simon Pegg and Lake Bell. I'm enjoying it so far.

Don't, I'll get all nostalgic for video rental shops.
Local Hero is a contender for my favourite British film. It's that or The Long Good Friday.

I recall the A4 typed list of 'This Month's New Releases' being rather thrilling. My brothers and me thought that Billy Connolly Bites Yer Bum to be the funniest title in the world ever. Actually, pondering it, I still do.
I thought that LH was great; really quirky. I haven't seen TLGF for ages, ditto Mona Lisa or The Crying Game. I think that it's high time for a Film4 fest.

I would spend as long as my Dad would let me trying to decide which film to spend my pocket money on. When I was 8 years old I gradually made my way through all of my local video shop's Jackie Chan films. Then moved on to Cynthia Rothrock. He would basically look at the video case and let me get anything that didn't look like it would be pornographic or too scary, regardless of the BBFC rating.
I would always argue with my brother because he would rent the same film every single time, for about two years.
This is a good film about the days of video (in America) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bj1Y7eMNOzo

My younger brother used to like watching all of the Mad Max, Rambo and other such films with my Granddad. The latter also enjoyed looking at Benny Hill once my Grandmother was no longer in the house.
I shall check out the clip.

That was good that. My Mother bought us a video recorder for the scary sum on £400 in the early 80s. She used to record the 10:30 horror film for us all to enjoy. Ah - The Monster Club, Now The Screaming Starts and Dracula AD 1972.
When I was a kid I gave my brother a fiver and gave him strict instructions to get me ANY JOHNNY DEPP OR KEANU FILM.
He came back with Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, and wouldn't give me my money back.
(And thank f**k for my brother, cos yay, Tarantino! Who for some reason back then I thought was a fat old bearded man who made boring films about nothing.)

Not FFC, I hope?
Ha, no. Not Coppola.
The person I'd got Tarantino mixed up with looked like a fat Colonel Sanders.

QT has a well-known foot fetish apparently. I haven't seen one of his films for years.
Are those two facts related?

Not really, I'm often extremely random like that
