Come Back Mrs. Noah

Anyone remember this show?

Come Back Mrs. Noah is a British sitcom that aired on BBC1 from 1977 to 1978. Starring Mollie Sugden and Ian Lavender, it was written by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft, who had also written Are You Being Served?, which had also starred Mollie Sugden. Joke banter was recycled from other series, and outrageously strange props were used. Come Back Mrs. Noah was not a success, with some regarding it as one of the worst British sitcoms ever made.

This show had at least 3 or 4 more years in it. So what do you think of it?

No.

Yes. The cast of Are You Being Served? and It Ain't Half Hot Mum are fired off into space (which, come to think of it, is not such a bad idea...).

This definitely a contender for worst sitcom ever, along with Take A Letter Mr. Jones, notice a connection there? Post Are You Being Served? comedies may be the greatest crimes against comedy since David Copperfield was given his own series

Mollie Slocombe floating weightlessly in a space suit, how can anyone not like this? It's like a Britcom Barbarella.

If only it was broadcast again so we could truly ascertain just how dreadful it was? Come on BBC Two - do the decent thing!
