Our Day

Today is Global Scouse Day, a magical city which I live in with a fair degree of Pride.
Best wishes to all Scousers who use these boards.

Will you be eating any?

I honestly have a pan on already in homage!

Weyhey Teddy, happy Scouse day. I went there a couple of years ago to take the kids to see The Beatles Story and wasn't disappointed. A fab city from what I saw of it and would love to go back again.

I think there should be a day set aside for all the major stewed meat dishes.

Me and a friend once spent a night drinking in Liverpool. A lonely man tried to tag along with us but we weren't having any of if. We were right not to.

I agree, I love Scouse, I could get in trouble for telling you this but for the last few years I have been throwing broccoli in and putting a flourish of spinach on the top as I serve it.

I don't understand this thread.

Why?

I think that's know as 'Gay' Scouse...

So Scouse is a dish, as well as a people and an accent?

Edit: that's meant to be a light bulb but it's a bit shit

It's more Bistro Scouse and if I get caught eating it I can't get a perm and I have to shave my wife stealing mustache off!

By Jove she's got it.

Listening to Classic FM before and they played an orchestrated version of 'My Love' by Paul McCartney in honour of Scouse Day, great tune.
