RIP
RIP Richard Briers
Sad news, but a very good age considering his claims about the amount he smoked over the years! He will be remembered fondly. RIP.

That's very sad. He was great in so much stuff, but especially Ever Decreasing Circles. Mind you, he was only in the paper the other week saying he'd had it. RIP.
Cue endless 'had a Good Life' jokes.
(Sorry Badge)
Just popping by to pay my respects to one of *the* great comedy actors. RIP Richard Briers. I (unfortunately) identified closely with Martin Bryce from Ever Decreasing Circles. One of my fave sitcoms and a sorely under-rated one at that.
RIP.
May he rest in peace.
Rip Richard Briers
RIP. Great man.
Rest in Peace.
Very sad. A talented and likeable chap. IIRC, his elderly blind man in Kenneth Branagh's Frankenstein was very moving.
Another great gone. Liked all his sitcoms and particularly his kids stuff, Roobarb, Skylark, Toad Hall, Watership Down, Jackanory etc, had an amazingly likeable voice. And thanks to recordings, most of it's still here.
Well I hope it is but you never know.
RIP
Gone but forever repeated.
This is a Poem that I read out at my Granddads funeral last year.
God looked around the garden
and found an empty space.
He looked down upon the earth
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
for he only takes the best.
He knew that you were weary,
and he knew that you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
be well on earth again.
He saw the roads were getting rough
and the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
and whispered peace be thine.
Goodbye Mr briers you funny, funny man, PEACE.
A sad loss, so many great performances, a genuinely nice and funny man and a great actor
