The Catherine Tate Show. I've laughed once so far.
Hmm. She's a strange one. I love her in interviews and laugh at everything she says.
But laugh a lot less watching her shows. Don't dislike 'em though. Some of the sketches are funny.
I know exactly what you mean. She's a lot funnier just being herself, or at least the person she chooses to convey as herself to the media, though the shows are definitely watchable in a lull.
Switching back and forth between Hot Fuzz and Beverly Hills Cop.
BHC, obviously.

I've said this loads of times. She's a really good actress - but she's no Karen Taylor.
I find her stuff funnier than Karen Taylor's.
Karen can be funny too, and is totally likeable, but a bit too reliant on 'aren't men silly' and period gags for me.
