What are you watching on TV? Page 364

Should have stuck with the first half and made the rest the same.

Yes!

In fact I gave up and now I'm watching Suspect which is quite a good thriller. Even though it has Cher in it; acting.

Ahh. I've reverted to QI. :)

I saw your tattoo and everything!

You said you wouldn't tell anyone!

Is it on Dave? Who's on? I'm taping something so my digibox won't let me look at other freeview channels :(

I'm now watching Three Men in Another Boat.

Yep, Dave. It's Clive Anderson, John Sessions, and that bloke..... you know.

No one great.

Mark Steel!

Damnit! Caught out again!

I'm watching that Alan Partridge where he gets that spike through his foot!

Piss myself laughing!

You lucky bugger!

I LOVE that one! Why can't I be watching that. :(

John Sessions grates on me - he is such a know-it-all; and not in a lovely, cuddly Stephen kind of way! Like Clive and Mark though!

I'm loving the fact that in Three Men..., two of them are wearing anoraks and jeans to man this yacht and Dara is refined in a proper jacket, under his life-vest! Aww.

Cute!

Yes, Sessions is such a little suck up.
Didn't he have that 'Me sir, me sir' buzzer once?

Rory McGrath does that a bit too.

Yes he did. Twat.

Yeah, Rory's a bit too keen to show off his knowledge as well sometimes.

I was shocked at how clever Rory is. He was on QI when I went to see an episode, but previously all I knew of him was a sport-loving guy off that show who looks a bit ... stupid.

But he's cool. And like, a bajillionaire or something. Bastard.

And he wrote for Frankie Howerd. Damn him.

There's no disputing he's extremely clever; he just seemed to forget the 'be funny' bit of QI when he was in full flow with his periodic table or latin bird names or something. He's good on this Three Men in a Boat malarkey.

A friend of mine once followed him round Oxford. And by 'friend' I do mean a friend...it wasn't me!

*Wikipedia* I didn't realise he'd co-founded Hat Trick.

Was that after Who Dares Wins? That was a good team. Jimmy Mulville, Tony Robinson, Julia Hills (I think) and the bloke who wrote the music.

Yup! Left the company fairly early on IIRC, but still, must have pocketed loads. I think that their first show was the spiffing excellent Chelmsford 123.

Not nearly as much as Griff did from selling Talkback, mind.
