What are you watching on TV? Page 356

I just watched a few clips of standup from Alun Cochrane after seeing him on 8 Out Of 10 Cats.
He's ace, I really like his style. Very funny. Might look for a DVD if he's got one.

Oh, him!

Didn't you watch 8 blah blah Cats?

While I was looking actually I also found an old video of Jimmy Carr. That was really funny too, but he was speaking in a really weird voice.

I did! But, y'know... I don't know names....

Weird how?

Sort of trying to be posh and speaking really softly.

In a while, David, I shall be watching After You've Gone.

He is speaking q-u-i-t-e s-l-o-o-o-w-l-y.

Sounds really odd at times don't you think?
Maybe it was just some sort of persona he was going for in the beginning but gave up on it?

Quite possibly. I prefer him now.

Yeah that's how he used to do all his stand-up- guess he just lost it with all the hosting/presenting he's done since. Think he's changed for the better- that clip was ever so slightly smug......

Mark Watson (ITV)

Bless him.

Now HE sounds Welsh.

Ironic, ain't it?

What is Mark Watson doing on TV? I'm upstairs...

He just did a two minute standup on some variety show thing that didn't deserve his presence.
