Brian and Maggie. Excellent, beautifully acted drama. Generally sympathetic to Thatcher in the end, despite the usual griping from the tabloid press.

Got round to it in the end - superb.
More joyful, in a way, with most of the cynicism and cruelty removed.
I was the same. The original is still brilliant but the U.S version is great too in a variety of ways. Steve Carell and Rainn Wilson deserve particular credit for their superb performances. Brent, Gareth, Michael and Dwight are all great characters: all deeply flawed personalities but somehow lovable too.
