Was that an initial offer?

I think it came when I upgraded my iPhone.

An Apple phone then I guess but I've got a Samsung.

The Sweeney on ITV4. No matter how many times I view it, the quality of this show beggars belief. The way the writers seem to convey natural dialogue the way people REALLY TALK to one another is fabulous. Locations and the crummy 70s living standards in the homes and back streets genuinely show life back then better than any documentary. To look at John Thaw, then in his mid thirties but looking like a rough seen it/done it cop older than his years is remarkable. Great stuff.

Surprising amount of humour in it too, especially the banter between Jack and George

Sarah Silverman: A Speck of Dust (Netflix?)
A stand-up special - very good

Racist

Bollocks.

My father in law came from Glasgow, and he loved Scottish jokes.

Also, just been listening to Barry Cryer and Graham Garden doing their Hamish and Dougal routine, as it happens, which had its own series. Sounded fine to me, and is often repeated.

Was only joking mate 😋

Y'll have had yer tea?

Oh aye Mon, and sorry yer ken, I took it the wrong way

And have deleted the last line of my post, as you sound a nice chap....................sometimes. 😁

Have you ever checked out the Vic and Bob remake?

Don't, it's INCREDIBLY shit

No. I loved both. Bob admitted he was a terrible actor but it had the lovely Emilia Fox in it.

Really enjoying again Spring Walks, with the new series on BBC4, the first two in the Yorkshire Dales.

Bit too much talking sometimes about personal issues and not what they are seeing around them, but the scenery and sounds we do hear more than make up.

Calms me right down
