What are you watching on TV? Page 2,194

"Paris When It Sizzles."
Lots of super stars including Holden and Hepburn.
Quote from IMDB " Besides all of the cool cameos and inside jokes, this movie is utterly funny in the way that it makes fun of itself. A must see......"
The problem is, that if you are not in on the in jokes, like me,it's exceedingly tedious.
And Hepburn is good looking but too skinny.

Dave's repeats of Taskmaster, before it goes over to Channel 4.

Very funny and can't wait for the new series to start.

Yes Minister on DVD. Series 2 I am just starting. Waiting for my new DVD's to arrive tomorrow

You're welcome :)

I don't know if this should be in the listening thread or this one, so don't bollock me.
My TiVo box took it upon itself to record lots of episodes of Yes prime minister.
Lovely, but when I played one, it was recorded from Radio 4 so the screen was black.

At first I was disappointed but then found out they are great to play when you are doing something else.
{the something else soon turns into just listening though)

If your after something else to listen to whilst doing something else - this place has got it by the shed load..

Yes, thanks for that and very interesting! But nothing pre 1969 I notice, so no Hancock etc.

Yes, the screen would be black on a radio station. :P

Every week I'm listening to Round the Horne, The Goon Show and Hancck's Half Hour on Radio 4+ via Virgin Media. I don't know where they are retrieving them from, but have heard, for example, a couple of Goon Shows I'd never heard before inasmuch as they were absolutely complete with intro/outro music and the music interludes which previous had been missing, so VERY welcome for me!

I thought there was a radio thread on the forum, but can't find it.

There's this one of course..............
