What are you watching on TV? Page 2,026

I tried again and it just bored me, so turned it off after 30 mins.

Time to go back to some bright and breezy Californication instead.

I had Thrones on my laptop for ages & didn't bother
Then one time I had 5 hour train journey & no wifi so I watched them & then panicked about youngsters going by when it might look like I was watching porn

That wasn't the point

I managed to watch 4 in a row
By then I was hooked & am so glad I was, yes there are too many characters to remember but only a few of them matter.
Just reading the novels now, and looking forward to the last episode of season 5 with great anticipation.

I love Californication as well
So need to get back that again? are you early on? I think I'm on the last couple of seasons.
I also wouldn't watch that on a train without keeping an eye out btw

My only criticism was Graham Coxon standing in for Damon who apparently had a sore throat............nice try Mr Coxon, but you cannot sing, by a long chalk!

Graham's always the singer on that song though, so I don't know why Chris said that.
I guess he meant that's why they chose to perform that song in particular, rather than a different one.

I did wonder about that
Although Damon probably did the high harmonies on the chorus

But he wasn't even in tune. >_<

He has an adorable little voice. And his own albums!

And why give Lewis Hamilton such a long bit? He was far too boring.

God, you're right. He is the dullest person on earth.

Just started season 6 with Tim Minchin in it!

Just checked, me too
Episode 4 just watching it now

OK, so TFI - a little Sunday afternoon quiz, and without looking it up, what TV series does the theme tune come from?

that thing on androids is getting dull fast

It felt a little slow. The only storyline I'm really interested in so far is the older man and his synth. But I'll stick with it.

That was interesting the rest was just lifeless, nervy and cliched

Hopefully the female synth will flip out and kill the teenage daughter at some point. Right pain in the arse.

Rather then being slow, I felt it had a suitably brooding atmosphere. Yes, there were clichés galore, and the ghost of Bladerunner was everywhere, but I'll keep watching while it stays mysterious... I've a feeling that when the plot becomes clear, it won't be any fun any more.

William Hurt is class. Very nice depth to his relationship with the synth looking forward to seeing how that pans out.

I don't yet buy the stroppy teenage daughter and her hostility to the mum but like the tension around Anita in the house.

It's looking promising so far.
