What are you watching on TV? Page 1,930
Cor, the new season of Hannibal's started well. Hope it doesn't get totally overlooked amongst all the (fully justified) True Detective hype.

I tried watching that live online for a change. I even watched it for a bit and did the restart trick, so not quite live for most of it.
I'm watching The Rise Of The Nazi Party and apparently Hitler used to get one of his girlfriends to shit on him. I always knew there was something off about that guy!

Shitler.
Quote: sootyj @ 20th February 2014, 3:23 PM GMTIf you're not watching this, then you're probably missing the best bit of Brit TV at the mo.
A show with ambiguos heroes, a proper is she/isn't she villainess, cracking dialogue, a massive reversal twist. All wrapped up in an atmosphere that feels unbelievably tense.
Awesome, I'd love to see a Jed Mercurio Dr Who.
This made most US TV look amateurish.
Quite agree Sooty, Line of Duty is one of those programmes that make you realise how fatuous and formulaic most TV unnecessarily is. It is quite brilliant in both conception and execution.
Unfortunately hidden away on BBC 2 and playing against Outnumbered and that paddy in a dress it will get small viewing figures.
Bafta coming it's way though, for sure.
Horizon...about the big bang.

4.5 million aint bad and with the BBC who knows, they just handed Ripper Street over to netflix.
Peep Show. Don't think I'll ever tire of this.

Never really got into it.
Watching a bit of Julia Roberts in Erin Brocovitch.
Not sure what she had against this lot.

I've recorded it.
Did you understand it or was it one of those mind blowers?

I had some "ok, maybe...but life's too short, who cares?"-moments. And I felt a bit like Trigger when they started to mathematically explain their theories.
Otherwise, very interesting and entertaining.
Death in Paradise.
Lots of famous faces including Michelle Dotrice.
I saw a few minutes of Party Wright Around the World last week and it was a truly shit piece of telly. Why do ITV seem intent on funding Mark Wright travelling round the world and being a lad?

Maybe they're hoping he doesn't come back.
