In the Line of Duty, forgot how much Jed Mercurio writes proper telly, the kind that can go toe to toe with the rest of the world.

If you're not watching this, then you're probably missing the best bit of Brit TV at the mo.

A show with ambiguos heroes, a proper is she/isn't she villainess, cracking dialogue, a massive reversal twist. All wrapped up in an atmosphere that feels unbelievably tense.

Awesome, I'd love to see a Jed Mercurio Dr Who.

This made most US TV look amateurish.

Auf Weidersehen Pet.

F**king Drama!

They break it where there's no ad break, then when it gets to End of Part 1 they get confused and can't find any adverts. Technical problems they call it!

Just watched My Big Boob Hell
Have now moved on to My Face Is Eating Me Alive

Laughing out loud

1/ Are you making those up? If not, I suppose they were on C4/5?

2/ Did you really watch them?

3/ Why?

4/ What did you learn?

Colombo, but I've got the sound turned off.

The rather excellent True Detective begins its UK run in 15 minutes or so (9pm) on Sky Atlantic.

Just watched the 90 minute pilot episode of Due South. What a great program it was!

Are you pitting your wits against the great master?

As if that would be possible George, though I do have an old mac tucked away somewhere just in case he comes unstuck and needs an assistant one day.
