Anyone been watching First Dates?

Yes, hilariously cringeworthy, with the occasional heart-warming moment.

it's terribly addictive, why do they put themselves through that??? watching this is better than any psychology course.

I'm amazed that so many of the men seem to be so utterly, utterly clueless. And that so many of the women wear such unflattering outfits.

There is no clear direction. I don't feel like we're ever going to find out what happened or if anyone was responsible for the outbreak. It's not hard to believe that in 3 series time that the whole cast will different too, so all these character mean nothing. Rick will get bumped off at some point because Andrew Lincoln will be the next Batman or something.

The comics can get away with never ending story because it's about the characters, whereas a TV series is as much about the narrative too.

This show will get axed before we find out anything. I hate American TV sometimes :(

Isn't the point just watching them try to survive? It's a succesful show so I can't imagine it being cancelled. It'll probably last about 8 seasons, although it'll never be much more than a bunch of scruffy people arguing and shooting dead people in the head.

May catch up on them.

Well worth it, it's the best thing on telly at the moment. Althuggh I reckon like Lost there are going to be a lot of unanswered questions at the end of the series so it'll probably be worth digging out the French film it was based on.

It will only take a few poor ratings for it to happen and give the execs itchy trigger fingers.

Maybe, although it's not a network show so it's got a bit of leeway.

Quite appropriate I would think although I bet they lost abysmally.

The millennium special

We All Pay Your Benefits. Bleedin' work-shy layabouts. Most of them just can't be f**ked by the sound of it.

You sound like you're surprised!

I've lived near these sorts of people for about 30 years.

I like to believe the best in people until they prove me wrong.

Eastenders

Is Ian Beale from Gallifrey??

his three kids have all regenerated about three times each now

Theres definitely been two Lucys, three Peters? And now we've got a second Bobby

I liked the first Bobby, they made him quite camp, it was funny.
I do like the Tiffany <3 Bobby storyline though.
