It's starting to bore me again

I found if there was a boring episode, the next one would be really amazing.
That's usually the case!
There is no clear direction. I don't feel like we're ever going to find out what happened or if anyone was responsible for the outbreak. It's not hard to believe that in 3 series time that the whole cast will different too, so all these character mean nothing. Rick will get bumped off at some point because Andrew Lincoln will be the next Batman or something.
The comics can get away with never ending story because it's about the characters, whereas a TV series is as much about the narrative too.
This show will get axed before we find out anything. I hate American TV sometimes

Yeah but at the moment they are wondering around aimlessly. Why are we following these people, does Rick have a greater destiny? The beginning was good because it was Rick looking for his family.

So far I've been hoping they will eventually find everyone else. Maybe in another country. A much bigger version of wotsit-eyepatch's little town. Somewhere safe where they can all have a normal life again.
