What the feck is the old man's problem?

I assumed he just couldn't cope with his wife(?) coming back and lost it. Either that or the very strong butterfly that can break glass made him do it.

That was a very strong butterfly.
Maybe he thought his daughter/whatever coming back meant that she was the devil and must be killed. Mental old coot.

Dates. Oooh she is so arrogant! Hates the thought of being rejected even though she doesn't really fancy him.

Brings back memories but not exactly like this.

Churchill the Wilderness Years, Robert Hardy looks nothing like him but still is astonishing in conveying Churchill's very human genius. The older I get the more I admire Churchill, he was often wrong, often misguided, but he was a true democrat. A brave, principled man who though part of the establishment and a Victorian, had the heart of a lion and did much in his radical youth to improve the lot of ordinary men and women.

Adam Hills interviewing a group of small children about space etc. One of the funniest things I've seen all week.

The smell of reeves and Mortimer

And when he messed up the Gallipoli campaign enlisted in the trenches to try and make recompense.

Something it would be good to see some more of these days.

Duty Free on itv 3

Nice!

I will be watching 24 hours in A&E at 9pm. I always shed a tear when I watch it, it's so moving.
