Didn't all the episodess have one?

When I used to watch it on TV as a kid I'm positive it never did

On the DVD there's an option to watch it with or without the laughter track.

I recall that M*A*S*H was broadcast with a laughter track in America (and presumably other territories) and without the laughter track in Britain.

A lot of people don't realise there is a laughter track on Gavin and Stacey

True.

What show did they borrow it from?

Laughing out loud

im watching Keeping Up Appearances

I kind of went off that when I read an interview with 'Hyacinth' and it sounded like she was a bit snobby in real life.

She is a thespian. They all sound a bit like that. That's why I try to avoid hearing them talk for real. Ruins the magic.

Pat Routledge??

She always did smell a bit beefy
