Both have an interesting premise but ultimately flub it. I can't hate them for that, though, I'm not a hater.

Invention of Lying is okay. Not as good as I was expecting, but fairly enjoyable!

I'd be really gutted if I wrote a film and they attached Ricky Gervais to it. He is just not a big screen star. He's actually a drain on anything he touches. Maybe he's cursed? Smothered with TV success at the price of a Hollywood career.

I did actually like that dentist one.

But he is much better on TV than film. But then so is Simon Pegg, and all the other buggers that f**k off to America the second they can. Bah.
