The Ring (US version). I am ascared.
What are you watching on TV? Page 168
Ooh that is a brilliant film - one of the few horror films of recent time that held my attention.
I am shitting myself. Quite frankly.
I think the Japanese original is scarier though. Japanese horror films are so flipping weird, so they're even more unfamiliar and disturbing.
Christ. Why am I watching this.
Whatever you do, don't put a video in your machine .. it might be "that" one ... woooooooo
Well I certainly bloody won't be now.
I'll guard the enchanted wood
The Ring Two is actually quite a decent sequel
Aw. I always wondered what films The Master would like...
Ha!
I'm a scary Master sowwy - hope you are not alone this evening?!
No. Thank gawd.
I'm watching Blue Heaven with Frank Skinner - not quite so scary
Anyway, I'm off to bed - don't have nightmares

So deities do defecate! I bet it smells of strawberries though.
Quote: PhQnix @ June 13 2008, 11:18 AM BSTA genetic hatred of the party that promotes self-interest above collective good. Privatisation above nationalisation. Their core ideals are just morally incompatible with mine. However the cannier person would notice that my gripes with the Tories also apply to New Labour as well.
Of course there are things that the Tories promote that are laudable. Personal responsibility, the unity of the family - these ideals are desirable to an extent. Underneath it all I respond to the core ideals which the Labour Party was founded upon - creating an equal society of opportunities.
Ah well, fair enough. Can't say I agree with you on really any level there, but unlike so many other Tory-haters, you seem to have actually thought it out and have it backed up with your own beliefs.
Quote: chipolata @ June 13 2008, 11:22 AM BSTThe man's a peanut brain and this stunt has backfired. When the Tories get back into power he won't be in the cabinet. At the moment I reckon David Cameron would like to stab him.
Oh I dunno, I think he probably would be. Or at least, under the present situation I think that he would be, I mean. Even if for no other reason than the same "keep your enemies closer" that kept Brown at Blair's side for 10 years. (Remember that Davis ran against Cameron for party leadership. Davis gave the most dull conference speech I have heard, but has impressed me since.)
Quote: PhQnix @ June 13 2008, 11:54 AM BSTI can't really see what else he's doing. This isn't beneficial to him or his party. He jut wants to make a point.
Indeed. Obviously he's fairly confident that he'll be able to win it, but the risk is far greater. I don't really think that there's anything in it for the party; as we've seen, the idiot Brown has already labelled it as symptomatic of disunity (yeah, pot kettle etc), and I think pretty much everyone knows that the Conservatives are, and voted, against the increase anyway.
Quote: Rachel @ June 13 2008, 1:30 PM BSTWhat a time to make a point though. >_<
It's EXACTLY the time to make a point.
Quote: Alan C @ June 14 2008, 1:03 AM BSTI'm watching Blue Heaven with Frank Skinner - not quite so scary
No, but bloody depressing!
