The Fast Show

I just realized for the first time - Ed Winchester was father Buzz Cagney in Father Ted

Hi, I'm Father Buzz Cagney.

:)

The Hollow Crown, finally. Bloody tennis.

Same!

Anyone watched the show Kathy Burke wrote for Sky, 'Walking And Talking'? It's blooming marvellous.

Hmm, the production and Simon Russell Beale's performance overdid the pathos of Falstaff a bit at the expense of the comedy. Jeremy Irons documentary postscript had extracts of Roger Allam and Anthony Quayle showing how it should be done.

Handsome looking production though, and Tom Hiddleston made a good Prince Hal.

It did strike me as innovative casting to have Booby Ball play the Earl of Worcester, but then I realised it was David Hayman with a lot of false hair.
