The new Dawn Porter, more like.

No need for cattiness, zooo.

Huh?

True Love , looks good, and it's got David Tennant...you watching zooo? ;)

Make Me Happy: A Monkey's Search For Happiness on BBC4.

Am I the only one who finds it hard work listening to a woman talking with her mouth shut?

That's because the monkey had no mic.

Amazing that people can take money for running primal therapy courses without feeling guilty.

Heh, I have Sky plussed it.

No spoilers but its got terrible reviews.

Yeah I've seen on Twitter. :)

Maybe they should have written it instead of improvising.

I can't get past the basic premise. Various nice middle class people who have chosen to stay in Margate? Sorry, but that's a fairytale. I know because its where I mispent my youth. All the bright kids leave to go to university because there are no jobs in Fannit. Very much so in the late 80s/early 90s.

Chicks. This is shit. You are dumb. That is all.

;) :P

EDIT: Okay, that was a little harsh, but really? Are our brains so differently wired that the trailer for this bit of crap didn't want to make you instantly smash up your telly, vomit all over the broken pieces before setting fire to your house?

I never saw a trailer. And I haven't even watched the show yet.
I read that 3 actors were in it that I liked, so I recorded it.

And I'm fairly sure I saw you chatting with a woman both agreeing on how shit the trailer looked, so you already know it's not a man/woman thing.

Just because one member of your gender breaks the rules doesn't preclude this from being a 'man / woman thing'.

From the subject matter, to the actors, to the story and the trailer (which is being shown on virtually every break on BBC One - so am astonished that you haven't seen it) - it has been clearly designed to appeal to women.

It's timing is no coincidence either - the Beeb knew we'd be knee deep in Euro 2012, so they wheel out this feeble chick stuff to try and appease the female demographic.

:S

You're the one saying that all women must like it (cos it's shit, apparently). I imagine even if all the women you know told you they didn't like it, you'd still be convinced you were right anyway.

Dear me.

Just as men can switch off their brains completely to enjoy an outrageously dumb action movie, women do the same thing when it comes to anything to do with relationship based entertainment.

To even suggest that True Love is aimed at men in any way is laughable.

Who has even said that?
You're having an argument with yourself!
