What are you watching on TV? Page 1,424

Round a friend's house last night and made to watch the final of Masterchef. F**k me, that's some grim telly, watching those two fat f**ks shovelling ludicrous nosh into their gobs like bloody navvies.

It's appears to be from the X Factor school of making minimal content last for what seems much longer than the hour it actually is.

Did you jog off the pain later?

Did you jog off the pain later?

Nah. Later, when I get home. Do a few laps on Streatham Common. Propelled by the fuel of hate.

And they make it so absurdly over the top now; with that pounding music, like it's life or death. It's a cooking competition.

It creates a different kind of anxiety for me than the one the makers are aiming for, I think.

I used to love masterchef, but the Britain's got X-factorification of this series has made it unwatchable as far as I'm concerned.

Didn't this show used to be tucked away on BBC2?

That is the best synopsis of Masterchef I have ever heard.

I used to like it when it was Lloyd Grossman.

Yup. And it became so popular they changed the format entirely and put it on BBC1.

I thought as much.

Just watched last nights Masterchef. Great episode. Really hungry now though.

Worse than that. Back in reign of Loyd and his strange vowel sounds it was the Sunday teatime/just before Songs of Praise slot.

I'm taping Rock & Chips & that Bobby Charlton thing.
So I think I'll watch my Big Fat Gypsy Royal Wedding

Bored to Death. <3
