What are you watching on TV? Page 131

I saw A Streetcar Named Desire at the National Theatre, starring Glenn Close.

And there's your barely related Tennessee Williams trivia for the day.

I bought 'Streetcar' on video several years ago, but stopped it half way through to go out somewhere. When I got back someone had broken in, the only thing stolen was my TV and VCR in one combo, complete with my video still inside. I never have watched the rest of that film. Do I win the just about related trivia league?

Equalled, I think. But the gutted rating might push you over a bit?

Meh, I was a student, and I was also a bit drunk when I discovered the break-in, it didnt really bother me that Id been robbed! I just used some lovely student loan cash to get a new TV.

Didn't you have insurance?

Oh-no-no-no-no-no-no...

Didn't you have insurance?

I was a student, far too lazy and irresponsible to find out, easier to blow money on a new TV! How else was I going to find myself three thousand pounds into my overdraft when I left Uni?

Was it good? The film of Cat...is awful!

The film of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof has absolutely nothing to do with the book, I hear?
Paul Newman wanted to keep some of the gay stuff in, but they wouldn't let him.

Yeah it's so different. Brick seems like he's more annoyed at Maggie, rather than haunted by Skipper.

The Streetcar film is aaaawwesome.
Old Brando films are ace.

Yeah, not bad. I don't remember much though.

He always has such random themes...

Amityville Horror!

Too scary. I have to hide in my cave when films like that come on.
