What are you watching on TV? Page 1,060

The moment has arrived for me to watch Question Time and shout at the telly in the manner of Alf Garnett. :)

OOh up the navy, sunshine!!!!!

The Grinch.

X-factor.

It is filling me with rage.

*puts X-Factor on*

*destroys TV*

Has just seen the recap of X-Factor. Ew. Glad I didn't see the first three-quarters.

Aliens, and it must be the long version as it ends at midnight. Excellent.

What channel?

Film 4. But you've just missed Ripley's pussy.

I want to like the Alien films more than I do.

I think this is the most likable, it just gives you what you want with minimal twaddle.

Aliens is a superior Film to Alien.

Now hang on a minute Mr X Factor. Who let that little prick through?

Oh, the old Alien v Aliens debate has been resurrected. No I don't think it's superior, it's just a very different movie. It's very very watchable and exciting and all that, but Alien virtually invented the monster in space movie and the story was very well paced and full of surprises. Alien is the daddy for me, but Aliens totally rocks on its own terms because it is very different, and gets marks for beng different imo. It also has a very kitchy arty look to it with those lesbo marines, which I thought was a lovely twist.

Much prefer the haunted house in space of Alien to the macho bollocks of Aliens - though the Alien Queen is my favourite movie monster...

Watching the comedy awards . . .

Aliens takes all that made Aliens great and pushed it to the very limit. Which is why after 2 there are no good Alien films.

Alien is Great
Aliens is Great.

Aliens for me is the better film.
