I'm watching the Gadget Show. I hate these people, pretending to be friends. I saw one of them on another show, talking about gadgets, telling people to "stop being geeks and get a life" Rolling eyes

Tv...isn't a portal into another world!? Damn you Matsui you lied to me!!

I'm a Celebrity - George Hamilton is doing a runner - good comedy double act him and Kim made too . . .

Arghhhhhhhhhhh!!! Fried Egg Jellyfish!

America's next top model

Well, the kids are watching their dad play Star Wars Unleashed and I am watching some large lady cooking something disgusting on public television and now the kids are arguing about what Christmas special to watch. Rudolph and Charlie Brown are tied, while my youngest is pushing for Elmo. Decisions, decisions.

CHARLIE BROWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

The Thirties in Colour with the most understated talking head ever commenting home movie footage of Hitler and mates.

"You get a sense of the Nazis misbehaving and they misbehaved quite a lot."

Laughing out loud

Yes, if only they'd invented the concept of the "naughty step" in those days...

Has the VCR not reached the Colonies yet?

I may have a couple of old ones I could ship over in the name of the Great White Queen.

Laughing out loud Thanks. We have a habit of watching a holiday themed show every night from Thanksgiving to Christmas night. We have a fair amount of them on DVD but they are just now starting to air on TV. What was the final choice? Well, after much debate we decided on The Grinch followed by Shrek the Halls. We actually watched what was on TV. Go figure. :)

I've just got sucked into the Jeremy Kyle show this morning because of a fantastic couple who met over the CB radio and look exactly as you would expect.

Apparently they broke up because he wouldn't make her a 'Pot Noogle' (sic) - as the woman calls it. Then he texted her when she was at bingo to ask if she wanted "sex in the car" later.

Did she text back saying No. House!

She was still fuming about the 'Pot Noogle'. She now wants him to take a 'lie tector' test.

She's now told him to shove the DNA test results up his arse "as far as it will go." But she "loves him to bits" - which in Jeremy Kyle world means 'he treats me like shit and I'm sleeping with four other men but I'm so f**ked up I quite enjoy making my life a misery.'

I just turned it on. Missed the bingo woman but there is a strange man in glasses coming up. I thought my novels paint a bleak picture of modern England - but my goodness this seems to do a better job.
