What are you watching on TV? Page 1,001

Peter Hain is a c**t. Pity he made it out of South Africa alive.

Yes, well I only used the word "twat" because I've used the word "c**t" a lot and I thought I should cut down.

I mean, it's been "c**t" this and "c**t" that. C**ting everything really.

Don't get me wrong, I like using the word "c**t".

Just think there's been perhaps too much "c**t" around and I've been supplying a lot of the c**ts.

If there can be such a thing as too many "c**t" and "c**ts" in this world, then I'm probably one of the foremost guilty c**ts, with my "c**t" heavy prose.

So, less c**ts. Less of the word "c**t" for a while. :)

EDIT: Oh, c**ting hell! :(

Freeview retune.

More than 18 million homes with Freeview will need to retune their equipment this week or face losing certain TV and radio stations.

The exercise is designed to give more viewers access to Channel Five...

Lie! The retune - and the phased switch-off of analogue signals - is part of a long-term plan to free up spectrum in order to fit in more channels, and HD channels as well.

Peep Show's on at 10. I know it's on 4+1 but that would mean me having to stay up till 11:30pm.

chipolata is in bed before 11:30 on a Friday night? Are there lots of schoolgirls' football teams playing early on Saturday mornings?

:D

LOL!

Anyway, V! Thought it was really good. Had a lot of cheese in it though - to wit, the single parent having a bad relationship with his/her child because he/she's 'never there'; the old pro who 'doesn't do it any more', but inevitably gets talked round etc. But still, I'm really excited and think it's gonna be a great series.

Doesn't everybody hope that someone will knee James Corden in the nuts? :D

No.

GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra

I rented this from Redbox for a buck and now I am really missing that dollar.

Kevin Smith ... looks fat and sweaty.

No shit!

My friend saw someone fall over backwards, head over heels, down an ascending escalator at Victoria tube station. Paaaainful.

I had a rather bad accident tripping on an escalator a couple of years ago. Really painful.

(Man alive! Aaron really is behind on this thread! :O)

I'm watching Around the World in 80 Days from last night with Frank Skinner and Lee Mack. I love these two and their stint is hilarious.

I agree. They should do something together.

Quote: JuliaC @ October 14 2009, 9:53 PM GMT

Not fussed about future editions with Apprentice people and Myleene bloody Klass though. Sick

I agree.

Perhaps they could do the first leg of a TV journey around the world? Taking 80 days? Whistling nnocently

You had a Creek boxset?? Paul, Paul, Paul I'm afraid you're gonna have turn in your good taste badge fella.

I like UB, too. But I haven't watched it much. And somehow I'm reluctant to catch up with the recordings.

Ditto! Also Desperate Housewives, which I've not caught up with since ... December I think.

Quote: Aaron @ November 6 2009, 12:20 AM GMT

But nowhere near as good as the first series.

Indeed, I've hardly bothered with this series tbh.

Well, if it is a lie, it's theirs not mine.

Anyway, this was in there too.

Ilse Howling, managing director of Freeview, said: "These are significant and necessary changes which will immediately bring Freeview viewers new channels, introduce new homes to existing channels and prepare the platform for the future availability of Freeview HD."
