I'm very new to the writing of comedy, but I recently took a shot of working on a short skit for the Dave Leicester Comedy Festival Shorts competition.
I'd ideally like to post in the Showcase forum but for some reason I cannot?

Not bad, but the B&W charity ad parody has been done to death already; in fact we've seen at least a couple of examples on this forum in just the last few weeks. It doesn't help that 'Ask Jeeves' nostalgia is just as played out a trope.
