Hi there everyone,
Below is a video of me doing a 5 min spot at a comedy night.
It is mainly new material, so excuse the delivery. Just wanting to get some general comments/suggestions/constructive? criticism.

My major criticism would be, stop playing with the bloody mic stand!
Once you've taken the mic out of the stand, move it out of the way so that you're not tempted to fiddle with it.
Other than that a pretty decent start, get out there and gig as much as you can, write as much as you can and see how you get on.
I'll definitely take that on board Tony, thanks! I'm a sound technician by trade, so it is probably that!

I thought that the intor, where you're claiming to be great at stuff, was hilarious - the distracted mikestand fiddling sort of added to it for me, as well. I felt that when you did the punchline it was less good, I preferred the weirdness of you claiming to be fantastic in that deadpan way, and I like it when you brought it back for the French section.
So the egotist bit didn't work for you then?
I just feel it needs some grounding, if that is the right word.
There's nothing wrong with it as a punchline, it works, but I just found myself laughing at the build up far more.
