Both are good people, it's a great meeting of minds and you can see how the personalities gel but it still feels like confirmation of the fact that it's an unpredictable world. Spark 1 rang. It was he who had rung earlier, that is, three seconds after Spark 2. I had to explain what had happened and he seemed to be reasonable about it at first. Of course by the end of my very lengthy explanation the frost had set in. He didn't cut me off exactly but the call was truncated in a manner to suggest there was a lot of bitterness. I'm now reliant on 2 making an appearance at some point with only the slightest possibility of going back to 1. It feels like a once in a lifetime decision. One that is for ever. There can be no turning back and if I have made the wrong choice, the only alternative will be gas light.
