New laws have come into place, putting pressure on large businesses to employ people of all ages. We are following Maggie on her new role at the supermarket.

Maggie - an elderly lady with dyed back hair, very polite but always gets her own way

INT SUPERMARKET CHECKOUT. MAGGIE IS SAT AT THE CHECKOUT WITH SERVING A MALE MID 40'S CUSTOMER MAGGIE IS GETTING PLASITCI BAGS WITH HER HEAD TURNED AWAY SO ONLY SHOWING BLACK HAIR

Customer: Hello, excuse me

MAGGIE LOOKS UP AND YOU SEE HER ELDERLY FACE

Maggie: Hello dear

Customer: Afternoon

(long pause)

Customer: Can I pay for my shopping?

Maggie: Oh sorry dear, I was miles away
MAGGIES SCANS THE SHOPPING SLOWLY THEN PACKS IT

Customer: It's ok I can pack it

Maggie: Not at all

Customer: No really I have to hurry

CUSTOMER TRIES TO GET THE SHOPPING TO PACK

Maggie: NO ..... I Insist

CUSTOMER PULLS AWAY

Maggie: (shaking head) Youth

Lol Isn't this the elderly lady from Trollied (with dark hair instead of grey)? Who also happens to be called Margaret?

Oh yeah!! never seen it before and just watched it on YouTube, I see what you mean!!

Didn't raise a titter for me, sorry.

However, I think this might work better with her being young and gorgeous with the insistence on being 'helpful' giving the element of surprise.

Just an idea.

Well done for posting anyway.
