British Comedy Guide

Open Mic London

Hi guys

It would be great if you could provide links to websites/venues that have no bullshit open mic nights in London. Preferably South London. I am not interested in Pay to Play or Bringers.

I am aware of this website page so far:http://davidsharpecomic.wordpress.com/london-open-mic-gigs-list/

(Although most links are dead)

If you didn't want to kill yourself for having to be a comedian then you sure as hell want to kill yourself when in the city of London it sure as hell looks like the open mic nights just don't really exist.

Cheers

Hello, I'm interested in having a go at my first open mic too. I'd prefer somewhere fairly gentle and forgiving for my first time at least, don't want to get booed off stage after 30 seconds by a load of drunks on a stag do. I've searched through the forums for links, but many are out of date, or don't work at all. I wondered if there was a good source of current info for this that I've so far missed.

Any help appreciated :)
