Perhaps in the Phraton Universe you are the writer for Brain of Britain?

Having sought professional advice, I have been instructed not to answer that question. ;)

Alien. :P

Lee of Not Going Out (Lee Mack) is going on Pointless...

So...did Steve Sunshine end up on Pointless?

No
They didn't use us in the end

Shame
The fellow I was going on with had won loads of money on TV quiz shows.
Compared to my paltry £750

I can't remember the exact figure but he won more than 50k on one quiz and is a bit of a cut price rain man type

Awhh, that's a shame. I looked at the application form and the sheer length of it scared me.

I love DOND, it is a fantastic show Noel Edmond's is great.

I always liked In It To Win It too.

Can't stand weird Lisa on Eggheads. She is totally ruining it. :(

God no, gave up on that at least 5 years ago - so repetitive!! Boring! >_<

I HATE all the National Lottery game shows. They're a load of bollocks just to fill half an hour before the draw which is what everyone who watches is really interested in.

They all have their faults in some way, and she is particularly awful, but the worst of all is Jeremy Vine.

Whoever told that tosser he was any sort of presenter?

I have just applied to be a contestant on a quiz show. Fingers crossed. I think I'll be completing a great number of applications during the next few months.

Good luck TBN.

I'd be good at getting results in quizzes but I'm just no good at performing - ie. being on TV.

Thank you - believe me, I need it :)

I have had a couple of failed auditions for Mastermind plus another for some bizarre concept of a comedy show with Objective Productions a few years ago. To date I have never been on telly.

I was on 15 to 1, thirty years ago when William G Stewart ran it.

I still have the recording on betamax tape but nothing to watch it with.
I also applied for mastermind but they were sneaky.
They call you at work and hit you with a barrage of questions without a chance to compose yourself.

My mind was still on the technical job I was doing so 're-concentrating was hard. I knew the answers but couldn't drag them out fast enough.
