I watched Black Pond for the first time last night, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is.
I was a bit apprehensive about watching it, as it features Chris Langham in his first major role since leaving prison - but I have to say, his performance was superb.
The other big name among the cast is Simon Amstell - who in spite of having only about five minutes screen time, still manages to make a big impression in his role as a nihilistic therapist.
If you're a fan of dark comedy and/or gritty independent films, it's definitely worth checking out.
