It's our 8th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow.
She's up in Scotland though, not back till Saturday.
Instead of the usual meal or romantic shenanigans I shall play Anniversary Nintendo & look for old BCG threads to bump.

Happy Anniversaryyyyyyyy.

I am trying to choose a Father and Daughter dance song from a very "love" orientated song list. Our swing band have obviously not done this before.

Oh Mein Papa by Eddy Calvert ?

Had to Google that to listen to it... I don't think it would work.

Papa Don't Preach by Madonna. :D

How about "Something Stupid"? It was originally sung by Frank & Nancy Sinatra, father and daughter.

Despite it being the cheesiest thing going, I Loved Her First always makes me cry. Surely that's on there? Except it now just reminds me of Big Fat Gypsy Weddings, because they ALWAYS have their first dance to it.

Ben is off to his first wedding tomorrow. He's not sure what to expect. Hopefully all the boring stuff will be done quickly and then we'll get on to eating and drinking.

Who are you marrying and how long before your second wedding?

At the middle point at the moment as my daughter got married yesterday but they're not having the reception/party until saturday 24th. What would you suggest for us - and NOT the two mentioned above. I thought maybe "Heroes".

Good luck Ellie or Mrs Jew as she might be by now.

She might say Oh Kaye to that.

:) :) :)
