Hi All
Another piece of stupidity from me: (taken down now I'm afraid) . Let me know if you have any thoughts on the script, voice, music, sound and anything else.

Not enough in it to be honest, the intro lasted longer than the joke, the joke was infantile which then contradicted the pseudo Europa 'Fin'.
bit too light weight
have you considered trying some scripts before emailing them?
In case it isn't seen this way (which is my fault) -- The joke's meant to be about something inanimate interpreting a book. The joke isn't (purely) about juxtaposing War and Peace with something kind-of sick. Maybe I should swap the dead puppies for a coaster or a teapot of something more humdrum.

Do you mean have I considered putting scripts up before making a video of them? Not really.
Well yes I assume animating and voicing is rather more effort than scripting
I know this is kind of the opposite of the advice that everyone alwasy gives, but I think the joke here might work if it were reported, and revealed incrementally.
So, it could be a theatre manager having a serious talktwith an experimental director, and gradually it becomes clear that they only use animal corpses in their productions.
-You did the whole of Titus Andronicus with rotting raccoons.
-Yeah, nice twist, I thought.
-But nothing happened!
-Yes it did; one of their ears fell of in Act III. Anyway, what about my Starlight Express with the badger corpses, that was all action.
-God, yes, it took us a fortnight to clean up all the bits.
Perhaps the punchline is a newspaper report of "Best Waiting For Godot Ever". Or, erm, something. I just think, unusually, this is a joke where telling might be funnier than showing.
I just know when I've written short animation scripts, its done in an hour, or 2 if the clients really fussy.
The sound and visuals can take 6 weeks.
So if I was doing all 3 I guess I'd be focussed on getting the easy bit done first.

That doesn't really come across, to me anyway, maybe as Gappy suggested have a couple more examples to give it a build up, then the puppies would make sense.
Thanks for the comments everyone. Hmmm, think I'll bin this one and work on something new.
You've taken the video down, Yacob! I wanted to wade in with another kicking! Meanie.
