Miss Diagnosis

We see an exclusive looking manor house standing in snow covered grounds.

We see four well dressed fat bastards, two men and two women.

They are sat at a table and are leaning back in their seats.

On the table is the few remains of a very large Christmas dinner, every plate is empty and the Turkey is a skeleton.

As they lean back one of the women who is at least thirty five stone suddenly does a very loud fart.

They all start laughing their heads off.

One of the men who has food around his mouth and all down his jumper stands gingerly to his feet and raises his glass as he speaks.

"And they call us morbidly obese! That was f**king hilarious"

Is the joke that they've got a sense of humour instead of being morbid?

Yes that's the joke I'm afraid.

Loved it apart from the ending. The opposite of morbid would be happy or cheerful I suppose so perhaps just laughing at the 'And they call us morbidly obese! would be enoght.

But enjoyable work again Teddy.

Is this written for TV? If so, get rid of most of the description.

Would work better as a one/two-liner or as a comic strip. The punch-line isn't good enough to have to wait a long time for it (IMO).

EDIT -- Wrote this critique before I read your similar critique of one of my things (in case you think me writing this was some kind of weird revenge thing).

Would I think that?

I don't write for TV I don't write for anyone but I still like to write.
I freely admit this is no classic by a long chalk it's just an attempt to get a Christmas theme going on a comedy site.
